Debbie Greenhalgh, Physiotherapist

MCSP

With over 30 years experience treating musculo-skeletal conditions in the NHS and in sports injury clinics, Debbie specialises in the treatment of sports and soft tissue injuries, orthopaedics (including spinal manipulation), injection therapy and acupuncture. She worked as an Extended Scope Practitioner in an NHS MSK team and also on a private basis with individual GP Specialists, having gained a diploma in injection therapy in 2000. For many years Debbie was the physio to semi-professional rugby teams and has also worked with a para-Olympian and as a Motorsport team physio. She is currently involved with Uclan providing training to medical students within the practice.

Catherine Almond, Physiotherapist

MCSP

Catherine graduated in Physiotherapy from the University of Central Lancashire in 2013.

She went to work for the NHS for several years, working within hospital, ranging from respiratory to stroke wards. Community settings treating a range of conditions from MSK, falls prevention and neurological patients. But most of Catherine’s time was working within the musculoskeletal outpatient clinics, treating anything from the lower back to upper and lower limb conditions.

She moved into the Private sector in 2016 to continue her interest in musculoskeletal using evidence-based practice.  Catherine gained her Matwork Level 1 and Pre/ Post Natal qualification in Pilates in 2019 which she enjoys completing at home to keep her core strength up after having her two children. Catherine also enjoys playing tennis.

Andy Hawke, Physiotherapist

Bsc (Hons)

Andy graduated with a 1st class  BSc (Hons) degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Salford in 2019 .  He gained experience in professional sports, such as football, cricket and worked in several musculoskeletal and orthopaedic roles within the NHS and private hospitals, Including Wrightington and Euxton Hall Hospitals . 

Andy is currently working as a Specialist MSK Physiotherapist within the NHS, alongside his role in private practice. Andy specialises in all spinal, upper limb and lower limb conditions, with a special interest in sporting injuries and pre-and-post orthopaedic procedures. 


Prior to studying physiotherapy Andy graduated from Liverpool John Moore’s university in 2014 in Sports and Exercise Science before spending 2 years as a personal trainer and has an excellent knowledge around exercise prescription. Andy’s interests include cricket and football.

Andrew Priest, Physiotherapist

Bsc (Hons)

Andrew graduated with a 1st class BSc (Hons) degree in Physiotherapy from Huddersfield University in 2019 and has spent the last 3 years working as a Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist working in the NHS, assessing and treating a varied range of conditions with a special interest in the shoulder joint.  As a member of both the Health & Care Professions Counci (HCPC) and the Chartered Society of  Physiotherapy (CSP) Andrew ensures his clinical knowledge in constantly updated ensuring the highest standards of care are provided. 

Prior to this Andrew graduated from Liverpool John Moore’s with a Sports and Exercise Science degree in 2014. Using knowledge, skills and experience gained from both professions, Andrew has developed a strong clinical understanding of conditions along with a comprehensive and holistic approach to assessment and management of musculoskeletal conditions. 

Outside of work, Andrew is a keen golfer and runner, with a history of competitive athletics, cross country and football. Managing a fair share of personal injuries lead to a passion for treatment and rehabilitation which in turn led to the Physiotherapy profession.

Emma Lees, Physiotherapist

Bsc (Hons)

Emma qualified with a BSc(Hons) in Physiotherapy from Keele University in 2010. She has gained experience in treating a wide range of conditions in an NHS setting as well as working for a Rugby club before specialising in Neurology in 2016. She also spent 2 years working in  specialist paediatric services. 

She completed  Post Graduate Certificate in Advanced Physiotherapy at Manchester Metropolitan University in 2020.

She now works in Private practice treating patients with range of conditions including Stroke, Brain Injury, Parkinson's, MS, Cerebral Palsy and Elderly Rehabilitation as well as MSK conditions such as back and neck pain, soft tissue and sports injuries both in the clinic and in the patients home where appropriate.
